Arab Nomad Fest comes to Tunisia

After the first edition in Taghazout, Morocco, the festival moves east to the Mediterranean. Same idea, new country: a week where Arab digital nomads, remote workers, freelancers and founders meet the people who are actually doing it. We picked Hammamet for the reason Taghazout worked, one compact coastal town the whole festival can share.

📅 3 to 9 May 2027 📍 Hammamet, Tunisia 🎟️ Early bird pricing

The full program, speakers and venues are still being built. This page is where the dates, the city and the early-bird ticket live, and it is updated as each piece is confirmed.

Why Tunisia

Easy to enter, easy to afford, and close enough to Europe and the Gulf that the whole community can actually get there.

🏖️

A town, not a city

Everything happens in one walkable coastal town, so the whole festival shares the same streets, the way Taghazout did.

🛂

Easy to enter

Visa-free or visa on arrival for most Arab passports, and straightforward for many others.

✈️

Well connected

Direct flights into Tunis from across Europe, the Gulf and North Africa, then about an hour by road to Hammamet.

💸

Affordable

One of the most affordable Mediterranean bases for remote workers.

📶

Built for remote work

Solid connectivity, a growing coworking scene and a young tech community.

🏛️

Deep culture

The Hammamet medina and kasbah on the doorstep, with Carthage, Sidi Bou Said and Tunis an easy day trip.

🗣️

An Arab home base

An Arab country where the community feels at home, with French and English widely spoken.

Getting to Hammamet

Fly into Tunis-Carthage (TUN)

The main international airport, with the widest choice of flights. Hammamet is about an hour by road.

Or Enfidha-Hammamet (NBE)

Closer at roughly 40 minutes, but it runs far fewer scheduled flights. Worth checking if it suits your route.

Group transfers

Shared airport transfers are planned for the main arrival and departure days. Details go out in the pre-travel email.
