About the Founder

My journey into unconventional travel began in 2015, during my university years. At the time, I improved my English out of curiosity and the desire to meet people from different countries—language became my first gateway to the world.

I built connections with international students and managed to secure my first European visa on a Syrian passport, thanks to invitations from my university friends. My first trip was to Austria for five days, where I experienced unconventional travel for the first time through Couchsurfing and hitchhiking with nothing but a cardboard sign in my hand.

That adrenaline rush sparked my love for travel—a passion for extraordinary experiences beyond the ordinary, living a life full of unique adventures far removed from unnecessary possessions and materialism.

Because I didn’t have the money to travel in traditional ways, I turned to budget travel. With a Syrian passport and student residency, I managed to enter the EU three times before returning to my residence in Turkey.

Later, I was forced to obtain a temporary protection card in Turkey, which acted like a prison, preventing me from leaving the country. During that time, I focused on developing myself to transition into remote work and build a consistent income. I tried working in an office, but being tied to one place felt like another prison.

I decided to build skills in visual content creation and eventually landed my first client through continuous reading, research, trial and error, and freelancing platforms. That marked the beginning of my remote income journey.

Even while restricted, I found ways to travel inside Turkey sometimes illegally—just to satisfy my love for exploration while continuing my remote work.

Eventually, I was fortunate to escape the cycle of refugee status and obtain Turkish citizenship. By then, I had stabilized my remote career, established a sole proprietorship, and built a growing client base.

Through these experiences, I gained deep knowledge about traveling and living anywhere in the world, how to obtain different visas, and today I’m working towards becoming a true global citizen with multiple passports—giving me freedom of movement beyond the barriers of visas.

I’ve collaborated with diverse companies, built a strong client portfolio, and developed expertise that allows me to sustain this lifestyle for as long as possible.

Through the Arab Digital Nomads Platform, I share this lived experience with you—helping you transition from being stuck in an unsuitable work/life situation into someone with multiple income streams.
